We’re delighted to partner with VegFestUK – the largest provider of vegan events in the UK – which regularly attracts more than 15,000 people to its festivals in various parts of the country, including the iconic Olympia in London.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the organisation has pivoted to an online offering for its next three events.
In order to provide an even stronger platform to amplify women’s voices, VegFestUK has partnered with us.
The partnership will see the Vegan Women’s Leadership Network curate a variety of speakers and presentations by female vegan leaders at the virtual events, starting with the upcoming Summerfest on 15-16 August, 2020, followed by the renowned London VegFestUK event in November, and the Plant Powered Expo in March 2021.
What’s particularly exciting is that these events are using state-of-the art technology to provide a real virtual experience where visitors can ‘walk’ through the show, speak to stallholders, and chat with other attendees.
For the VegFestUK Summerfest Online which takes place 15-16 August, 2020 (consumer show) and is free to attend, we’re hosting 2 livestream panel discussions (one on each day) at 11am BST, and curating a number of pre-recorded talks to come under the Vegan Women’s Leadership Network umbrella.
We’re committed to include a diverse mix of vegan women on both the panels and for the pre-recorded talks and are keen to hear from women of colour, especially those based in the UK and Europe, as well as from across the globe.
Get in touch by 20 July, 2020 if you’d like to be considered or want to suggest a speaker or panelist: Email katrina [at] veganwomensleadershipnetwork [dotcom]
VegfestUK Summerfest Online is FREE to attend (registration required). The consumer show takes place 15-16 August, 2020, with a Trade Day on 14 August.
